Liaison Non Nurse

Position Summary The Liaison Non Nurse engages in business development functions with purposes of increasing census and maximizing visibility of the facility as the preferred post acute provider in the community in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements Must have an associate's or bachelor's degree in health care administration, communications, marketing, or related fieldMust have prior experience in clinical systems OR Must have prior experience in a post acute setting Specific Job Requirements Must be willing and able to travelMust have excellent verbal and communication skillsMust have a valid driver's license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standardsMust have functional knowledge in field of practiceMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMust be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityMust have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentMust perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to:
patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationMust understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training Essential Functions Must conduct patient preadmission screenings at acute care hospitals or other referring facilities such as rehabilitation hospitals or physician officesMust be to understand and effectively navigate managed care processMust establish productive working relationships with providersMust exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsMust be able to assist in the evacuation of patientsMust demonstrate dependable, regular attendanceMust be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentMust be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamMust be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hoursMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageAn Equal Opportunity Employer.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
